Do Chocogram chocolates contain nuts and other allergens?
All our chocolates may contain light traces of nuts. Our chocolate is not suitable for suffers of nut allergies.
Do Chocogram chocolates contain soy lecithin?
All our chocolates contain only small amounts of soy lecithin.
Are Chocogram chocolates gluten free?
Chocograms that are produced in white, milk, and dark chocolate are gluten free. Our custom printed personalised chocolates, including iPads and iPhones and some of our handmade chocolates with fresh fillings are also gluten free. Please contact us for more information.
Does Chocogram offer vegan chocolates?
Chocogram messages produced in dark chocolate are vegan. We have a selection of handmade chocolates that are also vegan. Please contact us for more information.
What is compound chocolate?
Compound chocolate is chocolate which is made with vegetable fats rather than cocoa butter. It uses cocoa powder for flavour. Compound chocolate does not taste as good as real chocolate, and does not have that "melt in the mouth" feel to it.
Does Chocogram use compound chocolate?
Chocogram does not use compound chocolate in any of our chocolate gifts. Chocogram only uses the finest pure Belgian couverture chocolate.
What is couverture chocolate?
Couverture chocolate is a superior kind of chocolate made of high quality cacao beans and extra cocoa butter. The extra cocoa butter gives the chocolate a smooth, creamy taste. It melts and tempers beautifully, giving the chocolate a lovely sheen and a crisp snap when broken.
Does Chocogram use couverture chocolate?
Yes. Chocogram only uses the finest Belgian couverture chocolate.

The basic ingredients in dark chocolate are cocoa mass, cocoa butter, sugar, emulsifier, soy lecithin E322 – to preserve the texture, and natural vanilla flavouring.

Do you use palm oil in your chocolate?
No, Chocogram does not use palm oil in any of our chocolates. Chocogram manufactures chocolate with pure cocoa and cocoa butter for natural flavours. Do you sell sugar-free Chocograms and chocolates?
Unfortunately not at the moment.. Our chocolate is not sugar free.
How should I store my chocolates?
Chocolates are best kept at room temperature around 20 degrees. To help keep your chocolates fresh make sure you keep them in a cool dry place away from heat and sunlight. Never leave them in a parked car for any length of time. For bulk wedding and corporate orders, the chocolates are best kept in the thermal packaging provided.
Can I store chocolate in the refrigerator?
Only refrigerate in extreme weather conditions. Place your chocolates in an airtight container to prevent it picking up the flavour of other foods and store it in the lowest section of your fridge. Because chocolate doesn’t react well to changes in temperature, allow it to slowly return to room temperature before eating.
Why can chocolate turn white?
Chocolate is delicate and will be affected by moist and change in temperature. From hot to cold or cold to hot. These changes in temperature can cause the chocolate to bloom, especially if you refrigerate your chocolate, and then return it back to room temperature again. Although it may turn white, it is still perfectly safe to eat.
Do you have a product return policy?
Food safety legislation prevents us from exchanging or accepting returns on our chocolate products. Of course, if there is a fault with the product, the order is damaged on receipt or there is a problem with the quality, we will be happy to replace your items.
